Checks are the most targeted method of fraud at 77%, according to the 2015 AFP Payments and Fraud and Control Survey. The FBI estimates that losses from check fraud total $18.7 billion annually.

There is also fraud of many documents such as prescriptions, accounting forms, etc. U.S. Prescription fraud is becoming a bigger issue day by day. Prescription drug fraud accounts for more than $10 billion in annual losses.
